Some people who know me, call me "Mr.
Regulator"! Why? I bought my DRIFTER Ultralight
aircraft some years ago. Shortly
afterwards I realized the need for a noise free working
Rec./Reg. to provide good filtered "CLEAN DC- VOLTAGE"
for the sensitive "ELECTRONIC GEAR" we run on board
of our aircraft. So I developed the
"POWER MATE"
voltage Rectifier/ Regulator. |

The challenging task
of developing such a device is the fact that the ROTAX-
lighting coil delivers a wide voltage fluctuation (20- 120
volts RMS- typical for single phase alternators!) at
different frequencies. Therefore proper testing and long
term performance was only possible by simulating true
conditions provided by my own built test bed. Many aircraft
owner have switched over to my product and enjoy clear
communication with extended battery life as well.
