Letters from satisfied customers:
From:
Tony Hayes, CFI at Watts Bridge, Toogoolawah Qld., Published in Brisbane Valley Leisure Aviation Centre,
 Bulletin #9, 1/98.
Via an in- air failure, Rob and I came up for a Rectifier/ Regulator replacement and chose the
"POWER MATE"
which has been well advertised in the ultra light magazines - we were drawn mainly by the "clean" output.
The device was fitted in the roof to take advantage of the T 500's in cockpit forward airflow with the doors off, and in line with the manufacturers requirement for cooling. A great investment.
Radio and Intercom noise cleaned up, battery at 13.8 volts as advertised,
excellent sales interest and back- up from Claus.

We fly a Jodel D18 powered by a 2200A jabiru engin.
Within 10 months we faced 3 blown up regulators and 2 damaged batteries. Since 3 months we use a
Power Mate voltage regulator. It is the only regulator who can handle the 20-120 volts voltage swing You find on the Jabiru generator.

> Claus, I fly an Xair with a Jabiru motor and a number of people have had problems with their regulator (made for Kubota tractors) putting out too
> much power and cooking their expensive avionic equipment. A friend of mine caught his just in time and that convinced me to put your 8 amp Power Mate
> on mine to ward off any such problems. It performs just as you advertise; mine gets only just over 14 volts at the highest, and at cruise it runs a
> steady 13.8 amps. The installation instructions were very clear. Needless to say I am most satisfied. Thank you,
Ted Clement / Xair. Jab/USA
